Using Find and Replace

Click on the Edit Menu and select 'Replace'.
The find and replace dialog box will appear
Enter the word you want to find and the word you want to replace it with

Click on Replace to search individually
Click on Replace All to change all instances of this word in your document
When word has completed the task it will inform you of the number of alterations it has made.
Try the More option in Find and Replace for a more complex search.
To quit the search click Cancel

TIP:
Be careful when choosing Replace All, Word will replace words buried within other words such as replacing older inside colder. To find the whole word only, use the tick box inside the more option.
